Carmarthenshire Modified Car Show (G-Tec Tuning)

Event Information

The guys over at http://www.gtectuning.co.uk have been (and are) busy sorting out the details and plans for the upcoming Carmarthenshire Modified Car Show. The Event takes place on Sunday. 21st September 2008 at the Pembrey Race Circuit.

There should be plenty to see and do on the day, including...

Club Stands | Trade Stands | Show 'n' Shine | Sound Off | Drifting Demonstration | Awards

...and plenty more!

In the interest of safety and community relations there will be Road Safety display stands on show from Carmarthenshire Community Safety Partnership.

Rebel Motorsport Club Stand

We have kindly been invited to attend the Show and, in addition, have the option of having our Club Stand on show. A few members have expressed an interest in both attending and having their cars on the stand so Rebel Motorsport Club is pleased to announce that we will be supporting the Event and we will be having our Club Stand there!

If you are interested in either attending, being on the Club Stand or both then please let us know as soon as possible - we have a limited amount of time in which to liaise with the Event Organisers and we need to get a rough idea of numbers potentially turning up. Ideally we need to know by the end of this month at the latest (August). Please let us know via the forums what you intend to do and we can take it from there.

(Logged in members ONLY: you can register their interest by clicking the 'Register' button near the top of the page).

All the latest information regarding this Event and the organisation of the Club Stand will be available via the Rebel Motorsport Club forums. More information about the Event itself can be obtained from over on http://www.gtectuning.co.uk.

The subject of safety... We will remind those attending that we do not condone/endorse racing and we fully expect attendees to be law-abiding and to drive responsibly. If you want to drive like an idiot and rag the nuts off your car then please take it elsewhere and leave the rest of us to enjoy the event!

Depending on the event it is quite possible we'll be attracting a lot of attention so please respect other road users and avoid excessive noise/speed in public and built-up areas. Also worth bearing in mind is the fact that there will potentially be lots of bikers, cyclists and horse-riders out sharing and enjoying the roads with us. You know the drill... be extra vigilant and keep checking your mirrors. Please keep it sensible.
