WESTEC Performance Rolling-Road Meet - 7th October 2007

Below are details for the upcoming WESTEC Performance Rolling-Road meet. This event will take place on the 7th October 2007.

General Information and Pricing

Over the last few years Westec have held many successful Rolling Road days for all manner of car and owner. They operate a 1600 bhp(!) 4wd Dastek Dynamometer with a 20 hp Centrifugal fan to keep things running at the optimal operating temperatures. They can cater for 4wd, front-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive as well as auto, manual and tiptronic gearboxes.

All Westec's Rolling Road days are normally held on a Sunday and two back-to-back runs are performed on your car. Afterwards you will receive a laminated readout of your test results - i.e. BHP and Torque graphs.

Prices are as follows:

  • 5-10 vehicles - £35
  • 11-20 vehicles - £30
  • 21+ vehicles - £25

Please note that a deposit must be paid beforehand if you wish to partake - £10 per car. Payment options are detailed below.

The subject of safety... We will remind those attending that we do not condone/endorse racing and we fully expect attendees to be law-abiding and to drive responsibly. If you want to drive like an idiot and rag the nuts off your car then please take it elsewhere and leave the rest of us to enjoy the event!

Depending on the event it is quite possible we'll be attracting a lot of attention so please respect other road users and avoid excessive noise/speed in public and built-up areas. Also worth bearing in mind is the fact that there will potentially be lots of bikers, cyclists and horse-riders out sharing and enjoying the roads with us. You know the drill... be extra vigilant and keep checking your mirrors. Please keep it sensible.
